Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ken Horne is an artist and psychotherapist based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. He is currently a student in the Master of Fine Arts program in Visual Art at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Ken has also studied drawing and painting at the Art Students League of Denver and American Intercontinental University in London. Focusing on shape, color, and design, Ken's artwork explores themes of consciousness, space, and healing. He is influenced by post-modernism, as well as the minimalist, color field, and abstract expressionist movements. Ken maintains a studio and shows his work at Chroma Projects on the Historic Downtown Mall in Charlottesville and on the online art marketplace Zatista.
