- Artist Exchange
I am pleased to be included in the 2016 New City Arts Artist Exchange & Exhibit. The show opens at Welcome Gallery on First Friday February 5th at 5pm in Charlottesville, Virginia and runs through the month of February.
My solo show “Holey Narratives” opens at The Garage in Charlottesville on Friday, November 6th from 5-7pm. The exhibit will feature new abstract paintings and will run through the month of November, 2015.
Come on out for the group show “Line & Color” at New City Arts opening Friday April 10th, 2015 from 5-7pm at 216 W. Water Street in Charlottesville. This is a Willco Studios collaborative show with Stephanie Fishwick, Cate West Zahl and myself. The exhibit includes oil and mixed media paintings, works on paper, gouache on clayboard, and sumi ink on paper. - Rawls Museum
I’m excited to have 5 new paintings in Virginia Curated at Rawls Museum Arts from July 18th-August 31st, 2014. RMA is a partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is located in Courtland, Virginia. Virginia Curated is a group show featuring works by a selection of artists within a 180 mile radius of Rawls Museum Arts.
Beginning April 18th, a set of my new works on paper will be available in a curated sale on One King’s Lane.
My show “Boundary & Suture” will be on view at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville from January-March, 2014. The work is hung in the Surgery entry hall gallery on the first floor of the main hospital at 500 Martha Jefferson Drive, Charlottesville, Virginia, 22911.
- Random Row
My work will be included in a group show at Community: An Artist Collective in Charlottesville during the month of April, 2013. Come check out the show on First Friday April 5th or anytime during the month of April. Community is located next to Random Row Books at 315 West Main Street in Charlottesville, Virginia 22903.
I am so happy to be working with Brooklyn-based artist Fabienne Lasserre as my Artist Teacher during my final semester at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Lasserre earned her BFA from Concordia University in Montreal and her MFA from Columbia University. She shows her work throughout the United States and internationally and is art faculty at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Lasserre’s works exist in between paintings and sculptures and are informed by her interests in science fiction and mythology. She shows her work at Jeff Bailey Gallery in New York City and Gallery Diet in Miami. I am also excited to be working with Vienna-born, New York-based artist Ulrike Müller as my final semester Faculty Advisor.
My show “X-periments” opens First Friday October 5th, 2012 at Mudhouse (213 W. Main St. in Charlottesville) and runs through the month of October.
- B Wurtz
I am thrilled to be working with New York City-based artist B. Wurtz as my Artist Teacher during my 3rd semester at VCFA. Wurtz received his BA at UC Berkeley and his MFA at California Institute of the Arts. He is represented by Metro Pictures Gallery in New York and Richard Telles Fine Art in Los Angeles. I am also pleased to be working with Janet Kaplan as my 3rd semester Faculty Advisor. Kaplan received her MA and PhD from Columbia University and is currently Program Director of Curatorial Studies at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia.

Two of my acrylic paintings on paper are featured in the May, 2012 issue of Martha Stewart Living.
- Nils Karsten
I am pleased to be working with German-born, New York City-based artist Nils Karsten during my 2nd semester at VCFA. Nils received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and his MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Nils participated in the Skowhegan program in 2002 and is currently on the faculty at the School of Visual Arts. His work has been shown in galleries and museums throughout the US and internationally. I am also happy to be working with Humberto Ramirez as my 2nd semester Faculty Advisor. Ramirez is an artist and faculty member at VCFA and Landmark College. He lectures on topics including postmodern theory, cultural criticism, psychoanalytic theory, and globalization among others. Ramirez’s work has been reviewed in major art publications such as Art Papers, Art in America, Art News, and The New York Times among others.
- Affordable Art Fair
Five of my recent collages will be in the upcoming Affordable Art Fair in New York City. The fair showcases a broad spectrum of original contemporary art and runs September 21-25, 2011. Make a trip or stop by if you’re in the city!
- Bikram Yoga
My show “Finding Stillness” opens at the Bikram Studio the evening of September 2nd, 2011 during the First Friday Art Walk in Charlottesville. The address is: 109 5th St. SE Charlottesville, VA 22902. The show will run through September & October.
- Sally Bowring
I am happy to be working with Richmond-based artist Sally Bowring as my Artist Teacher during my first semester at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Bowring teaches painting in the School of Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a recipient of the Virginia Museum of Fine Art Professional Fellowship and the Theresa Pollak Visual Arts Awards 2003-2004. Bowring is represented by Reynolds Gallery in Richmond, VA and her artwork has been exhibited extensively nationally and internationally.
- Vermont College
I am excited to begin the Master of Fine Arts program in Visual Art at Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2011. My first semester Faculty Advisor is New York City-based artist Sowon Kwon. Kwon holds a double major BA in Fine Art and History of Art from the University of California in Berkeley and an MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She has taught at The Cooper Union and Princeton University, and participated in the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program.

- Housing Works
I am happy to have work in a charity auction to coincide with Art Basel, 2010 in Miami. The proceeds benefit Housing Works in New York City, which is committed to ending the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness. My piece “Playing Field”, pictured at left, sold in the auction.
- BozArt Featured Artist
My solo show “Flooding the Space between Sleep & Wake” opens First Friday July 2nd from 5-9 PM at 211 W. Main St. in Charlottesville. The exhibit runs through the month of July.
